Garsą izoliuojantys stiklo paketai, kuriuos gaminant naudojamos priemonės, pagerinančios garso izoliavimo funkciją.
Veiksniai, pagerinantys stiklo paketo garso izoliaciją:
- stiklų masė (kuo ji didesnė, tuo garso laidumas mažesnis);
- stiklų konfigūracija (turi būti asimetrinė – naudojami skirtingų storių stiklai);
- specialūs stiklai (garsą izoliuojančia plėvele laminuoti stiklai);
- specialių dujų stiklo pakete naudojimas;
- atstumas tarp stiklų (kuo didesnis).
Taigi, ten, kur reikia itin geros garso izoliacijos, reikėtų rinktis stiklo paketus su kuo storesniais stiklais (6, 8 ar 10 mm), kur bent vienas iš jų būtų su garsą izoliuojančia plėvele. Atstumas tarp stiklų 16-20mm.
